    283 color plates show as many toothbrush holders.  Captions tell size, subject, and place of manufacture.  The majority of these items are Mother Goose or fairy tale characters:  Little Red Riding Hood, Orphan Annie, Old King Cole, Three Little Pigs, etc.  Some are Disney figures such as Mickey Mouse and Pinocchio, and there is a nice selection of clowns and animals from dogs to giraffes, rabbits lions and so forth.  A price approximate for date of publication [1994] is appended.  If you are a collector of pottery and porcelain novelty items, or toothbrush holders in particular, you will want to add this colorful and thorough volume to your permanent reference library.
