One of these books (
1744-1917
) is written in Russian, English, German and French.  The second book (
XVII-XX
) is written in Russian only.  This two volume book set covers Russian pottery and porcelain marks.  I do not have an English title for either book, however the contents of the one book (
1744-1917
) do show text in parallel languages.  See example in pictures.  According to the book, "The brands are listed in the alphabetical order of the factory owners, since no other criterion would allow the marks of one factory to be grouped up together (since they often had widely ranging shapes and lettering).  Some factories are, however, listed by their names because the owner's names nay be less familiar or because they are collectively owned (e.g. the Royal Porcelain Factory, RPF, the Belveder Factory, etc.).  The trademarks of art studios make up a group of their own.  Separately listed are the marks which , as experts believe, belonged to the Russian porcelain.  The marks of the trading firms appearing on chinaware are also listed separately."  There's a wealth of information here!
