    Description

    This is U.S. Scott #1908, the 20-Cent Fire Pumper coil stamp with Plate #12.  This copy is USED and the centering is just FINE (F).  (See the scan for the precise centering.)   This stamp is solid in every respect.   This one has a PURPLE MACHINE CANCEL (PMC).   Normally, this is a fairly inexpensive stamp, but plate #12 with a PMC is quite rare.   The PNC3 Club's Values List for Purple Machine Cancels has this one at 0.00.   They're VERY hard to find, but due to the centering, you will get it for much less here.
