    Description

    Dated 1946. Early version of this advertising carrier bin. Very good condition, with obvious wear and patina from age, use and storage. No bends, creases, or rips / tears. Color is military style green with beige lettering. Well constructed, with steel corners, edging, and handles. Three wood slats underneath. Made of tough “vulcanized fibre” by the Continental Diamond Fibre Co. of Newark, Delaware. All riveted together. The date ‘12/26’ stenciled on two sides. Some surface corrosion on bottom corners and braces underneath. Measures about 22 inches square, and 11 ½ inches deep. Weighs over 11 pounds. Great display piece, or for everyday use. Outstanding addition to your antique food and beverage / industrial commercial memorabilia collection.
